Fujiya

it's another long weekend!! although i appreciate the break, truth is i'm not able to enjoy it after all, for both days from friday to saturday morning..i spent it repairing 2 out of three available computers at home and the damn speedy network. but at last i able to sit down in the same joint i usually spent weekend upon. ^^ this week has been horrendous, i still not able to find my mojo back in designing, my work has been lacking alot, and finally livia decided to resign, The latter one is the bomb i guess, i reckon next week the office will be a lot alot different than the usual, the atmospher will be scary and emotional..erm anyway, i wish her the best, when she consulted with me before deciding i suggest her to think about it cooly and calmly and with no emotion involved as to choose whats best for her at this point of her life. whatever the outcome would be, i'll support her as long as she's happy with it, thats what friends for rite?. so all the best for her in her next adventure ^^ au revoir livia!

album recommendation :

Anyone heard and tried Fujiya&Miyagi yet? erm for those who like alterntive dance band or electro music (not the heavy type but more like electropop )should give them a go, their latest album titled " the transparent things ", they draw their influence from krautwerk era like kraftwerk, stereolab etc. my personal favorite out of this album is the first track " ankle injuries " check the video out! u cant stop chanting fujiya miyagi afterwards!!

i box sucks!!

so i went back to medan last weekend..had a good time there altough i didnt manage to get around much and didnt able to enjoy all the tasty food that i long for, but as far as short break goes, it was okay! although its such a short break the clients still able to disturb it by calling and waking me up every morning when i was there..hahaha so much for a break ^^ Medan is so much different than the last time i was there..i felt like a villager comin out to the city for the first time ^^
i'm back here now, and spent the weekend as ussual, sitting alone in the caffee..^^ oh before went to ratu plaza to get my ipod fixed..but the person there said its brocken bad enough so u cant fix it..i have to get a new one..damn!!! shit that ipod really getting to my nerves!! damn damn damn...oh and i hate the ibox staff!! i asked them about the crumpler bag that kris want, in ratu plaza but they said they run out of the black one, so i asked them to please check if their other branches have it, and they do , the one is senayan city have it. so i walked there and guess what they said they run out of stock too, it pissed me off, why the hell don u say so when i asked before!!

Break Ahead

as you know last week i went to Casa with Kris from work, while there, when we chat, i can hear this music playing in the background, it's Coldplay's Yellow but it's a girl voice and a good one too, so yesteday i browse to the net for any possible female singing Yellow, i FOUND her! her name is Alex Parks, appearantly she used to enter this "ido" show in UK called Fame Academy and she won, well i liked her version of Yellow, for all Coldplay or BritPop fans you might wanna give it a try! here's the link

work was not so good today, i've been strugling to find my mojo! i can't seem to work it out how to make my minds works okay, i cant really think straight and seems like my action and body movement has cause others to notice, cos they keep asking am i alright? or is there something wrong with me, why am i so quiet today? its funny cos beside the fact that i'm not productive with the work i:e not able to produce the quality needed to get the job done, i dont think there's anything wrong with me.
and later, on our usual ciggies break i try to consult this to Kris, am i wrong for acting like what i did? and as usual her answer starts with " there's nothing right and wrong, as long as you know what u doin" , how am i not to love her then. so i changed the questions to " is it strange for you to see me acting like what i did? " and she answered " yes" ....guess i should try to learn to control my own face expression and emotion in order not to disturb others around me then.

yeah finally tomorrow i can have my break, my cousin is having an engagement, so i gotta get back to Medan to pay a visit, but it also a good time for me to take a small break cos i think i needed it since forever ^^ get to get together with my step family is a good thing, i havent seen them for 5 or 6 years so i hope everythings goin ok, and also its a match made in heaven since we get this client " Mikie holiday " which is a resort place in Berastagi near Medan, and Valent will come and join me for the meeting on monday, finger crossed everything will be alrite, i'm kinda nervous now.

it feel a bit strange as i was about to leave the office today cos i know i won't see them till next week well beside valent. i kinda feel sad and goin to miss them for it. Again finger crossed that everything will be alright and i'll be back before they know it.

ramblings

i finally get an internet connection in my place, but,,BUT, dunno what the hell wrong with it, it's didnt seem to work as well as the one we used in the office, i'm getting the same subcription, i even get a better modem than the one in our office, but why oh why it just so damn slow!! and i cant set up the wifi connection!! i might need someone to come and fix this but i'm leaving for my break the day after tomorrow so maybe have to wait it out till next week, damn!!
oh yeah, i finally goin to have my long awaited break, i'm gonna spend it in Medan, and hopefully have a nice time there, altough its not all holiday, cos valent coming next week and we both will be surveying the Mikie Holiday resort since we are doing a project for them. well at least a bit than not at all.
it's been a long day today, went out to sentul, check the highlands landmark, have a meeting, going round the whole club house and 18 hole to take a pic, and i just kinda tired mentally and physically at the moment so i dont need another thing to add on like this internet thing!!

another weekend part 2

just the same weekend as ussual, i spend the whole night playing games till morning..slept then went out to the same cafe and sit on the same spot, just me and my laptop again, altough later on kemek came and join me and then munen and others also came and we went to food fest to chill since aksara is closing at 10 pm, tell u what, i guess it's the most packed food fest i ever been, even Cafe Port Java is packed!!,
we sat and chat till around 3 am, then went back, oh yeah i managed to get the dvd i've been searching for years! a classic Luc Besson " Leon the Professional ", i love the movie, the whole hitman thing plus i can watch a very very young Natalie Portman!!

went out to Mother's day Dim Sum with the whole Big Family at this new restaurant called "Sun City", it was okay although the services was quite bad, later then went to cut the new levi's jeans i got last week
after that went to Casa with Kris from work^^

the indie girl back in sydney

been catching up with serena lately and she made me missed sydney even more now!! sigh.. but its good though, cos its kinda motivate me to get my ass working hard to be able to go back there someday ^^, a bit about serena, she used to work in foot locker in the town hall station, how i met her? well just because i'm one of those people who goes in a shop, looked around, pretend to be interested in buying, asking this and that then go out..hahahhaha, well just because i visit the shop quite often, then we got into a chat about air force one full white, then converse. etc...then add each other in MSN, then start chatting about shoes again, then suddenlly one day ( after a while ) we realised we are into the same kind of music, remembered she asked me how the hell i know sigur ros, cos she thought i'm more into black gangsta music ( no offense to the black gangsta music lover ) by then we chat more about music, and movies..which is fun cos we both dig indies!! hahaha and few days ago she gave me a new nick name which is "arctic jeff the indie indo" so as a token of gratitude towards her, i nicknamed her "plastyk travis the indie girl back in sydney"

another weekend

it's a usual weekend for me, just me and my laptop, sitting on the corner of the corner coffee shop, wondering what to do next...well why not update a bit of the blog my mind said to myself...but i dont know what to write, i mean usually i update my blog whenever i had something to say or to show, but this particular moment, i am completely blank. so i start typing this in while trying to force my mind to made something up, anything as long as its interesting enough to write, although i admit most of the time my blog is as dull as it gets hue?no?..oh yeah before i forgot it, i just want to put out a shout out to the spartan people, for me personally, i guess its the best movie so far in 2007, i haven't got the time to catch spidey 3 yet or pirates or anything else, but 300 rocks!! and i guess if they put it out sooner, it had to won a couple of oscar nominations including ( in my opinion ) best movie, best director, best actor, best sound editing . ^^ well for Sparta, mate!!

oh, and lately i'm into writing again, i dont know why, maybe because i met this girl who i find mysteriously interesting..^^ you know who you are..well to cut the story short, she likes writing too, and she introduced me to some indonesian writer which i have to admit that i never read any indonesian literature before. so as a token of gratitude towards her i wrote up something...and here it goes

okay, i knew i said to myself when i start this blog that i wanna do it rite!
but so far it's been hell....okay no excuse needed i screwed it up thats all...


so now here i am, thinking why dont i just start doing it again and see how it goes..

then here it is, a damn new post for the year 2007!!
i'm thinking of re-designing the blog, but maybe not now, let's just see how it goes from here on out.


a bit of news about me:

i've been working for almost 6 months in a company called "bentuk" check www.bentuk.com
i still miss Sydney and all the nice, cool, good peeps there, all the magz shops, all the coffee place..well i miss that all..and now trying to work my ass off to save some money for me to go back there one day.
i'm still fat as always..muchas informassiones senor?
and maybe i will do something i always wanna do ever since i know this world, but hey let's make it a secret surprise, ok?
